Hello! and welcome to our site. We are a husband and wife duo who likes to make food and experiment with new recipes. We decided we needed to take love for food and share it with our friends. We hope you enjoy our twist on some of our favorite recipes.
After the first go-around with snack packs, believe it or not, we packed too much food. So I have tried another week of packs with a little bit less food in them.
I know the hard boiled egg is a little redundant but it’s super easy and is a great breakfast item. The rest of the food is munched on throughout the day or a good lunch with no snacks in between. One weekend we went shopping at Costco and found these caveman bars(http://www.cavemanfoods.com/). They are nearly paleo and very delicious.
1. Hard boiled egg, trail mix, Pepperoni, Caveman Bar, Broccoli
2. Hard boiled egg, carrots, almonds, broccoli, fruit and veggie pack
3. Hard boiled egg, salami, cheese, carrots
4. Hard boiled egg, ham, cheese, broccoli
I like being able to prepare these on Sunday for the week. They don't take up too much space in the fridge and I like the variety. A couple of things that are a little discouraging is I have to think of all cold food or all warm food. Since it's all together, I don't want to take something out to heat it up. I know these are not completely paleo but very low carb and delicious!
