My in-laws were coming to visit for the weekend and I wanted to make a nice meal. It always seems to happen that whatever I plan gets changed. It definitely isn't a bad thing whatsoever but I like to be prepared.
So I was originally going to serve this on Saturday night but our plans were changed. Luckily, this recipe is super quick to throw together. I ended up serving this on Sunday for lunch instead.
I have seen numerous recipes for an Asian Slaw salad and I wanted to make my own twist on this one.
1 Bag Cole Slaw Mix
1 Cup Slivered Almonds
1 Cup Honey Roasted Sunflower Seeds
2 Tablespoons Minced Onion
1 Tablespoon Garlic
3/4 Cup Olive Oil
1/3 Cup White Wine vinegar
1/4 Cup Sugar
In a large bowl, mix together all slaw ingredients. Whisk the dressing together in separate bowl and combine. Refrigerate for an hour and serve!
